Grow tent ventilation question

    Hi all, I was wondering if it is possible to not have a ventilation system in my grow tent? I am on a budget and cant afford a ventilation system also I have no where to vent to, the tent is small: 80x80x160cm and i will use a 250w HPS and have a 6" fan inside the tent, please help :(

    Not really. Plants need fresh air, just like you do. Ventilation also is a primary means of temperature control and odor control.

    What if I opened the tent 10-12 times a day for 5 or 10 minutes?

    I ordered a 4" inline fan w/ carbon filter and a 6" fan for intake, Is that good?

    You don't need a fan for intake as long as you have decent exhaust

    Yeah cancel the 4" fan and filter combo and get a filter to fit the 6" fan. Use that for exhaust and have passive intake.
