Hi..GC I have a 4ft x 2ft x 4ft grow tent. &....2 x 250 watt CFL bulbs How many cannabis plants can I fit in this space, if I keep them till harvest?
(2), if your pots are 2 gallon, then they are most likely 9 - 10 inch across, that would leave you with 7 inches of overhang on each side, which will not be a lot if using a 2 gallon pot. I use to have a tent like that, and I found using 1.75 gallon pots, I could grow (2) nice producing plants But I used.... (11) 23w 6500k for veg, (3) over the top of each plant, and (4), (1) in each corner (2) feet from the top, and the (1) in the center between the (2) plants at (2) feet from the top. Then in flower, I left the (5) 6500k at (2) feet, (1) in each of the tents corners, and the one in the center between the (2) plants, then I replaced the (3) above each plant with (4) 23w 2700k. Multiple blubs are far better than using just (1-2) bulbs as you can deliver a more direct lighting array to your plants.

i was told with a formula of 150watts per plant 500 watts would be at least enough for "3" plants and also.. my grow tent is 4feet long x 2ft wide x 4ft tall I should have enough room in the tent for 3-4 plants
You can put how many plants you want in there, but a plant in a (2) gallon pot really needs 2 x 2 of space to allow it to grow to it full potential. It just doesn't make sense to put more plants than what you really can support. I would rather have (2) plants that gave me 8 to 10 ounces, than have (3) plants that will only give me 2 1/2 ounces each because lots of bud sites will be overlapped by having to many plants in that little grow tent!
