Has anyone ever made a grow tent? They dont look like they would be to incredibly hard to make... and with the price of 200$ im sure I could figure out something. If you have ever actually made one I'm curious where you got your rods, and material?
The HydroHut is nice but no way I'm spending $200 on a tent...Spend that on a CO2 system. I'm going to use plywood for my box then I'm going to cover all the interior with .002 Mylar. Should be perfect especially with my new 1000watter. If you decide to go with a tent, DO NOT use PVC for the frame! PVC piping is toxic (can cause cancer) and you don't want it anywhere around your plants. Good luck! Look out for my grow journal in a week or two!
i think all that nonsense to do with pvc comes along with softening agents they use to make different kinds of things like IV bags and soft vinyl toys that children used to chew on, not just regular pvc tube. if anyone can show me information that using pvc tubing without ingesting it or ingesting something that was stored in pvc, please do because thats scary as hell.
