hey everyone i live in PA and i was wondering when the season is outside to start growing. If anyone has any links for good calenders or anything that would be nice too. thanks.
This might help: 2011 Long-Range Weather Forecast I'd take my cue from the gardeners in your area. When tomato transplants appear in your local garden center, you can pretty well assume the growing season in your area has begun.
II'm in Ky and it starts mid april. so probably early may for up there. I usually wait till low temps consistently stay above 40 which is usually late march. Unless u followed above link, then disregard this statement.
lol ok thanks. yeah i dont want it to drop below freezing when i plant them then all die so trying to figure best time.
are you planning a guerrilla grow, or just a personal stash in your back yard? You can get a jump on the season with cold frames so you can set out your seedlings sooner. I would (and do) grow my seedlings under lights indoors for about a month before setting them out.
i own land like 45 mins from my house. ill probably start the seeds at my house then put them at my land. gurilla grow might be how i do like 10 plants and just see how those go then do like 5 good ones. lol im kinda new to growing so indoor stealth grows dont really have much yeild.
