Hello , quick question..What would be the optimum size for a grow room for 12 pots using 1x 250w Mh/Hps & 1x 400w Mh/Hps?
The answer is, it depends. It will be different if you are trying sea of green or scrog, or how hot it is, or how big your pots are. But roughly speaking if you were planning to buy a tent for example, you'd fill a 4x4 foot tent with these, 3x3 would be too small to get in and actually care for your plants, and you don't have enough lighting power to cover a larger area effectively enough to be described as "optimum" Some people will probably think that 4x4 is too big a space for the lights you have, but since you have two separate bulbs running at the same time, you can cover more area than having just one 600w light.
