I have two Mercury 175w bulbs for the beginning of my two plant grow.....After that i know this wont quite be enough to get a good yield so i will have to break out my 1000 Watt HPS bulb....now my grow room is 4x4x8 ft high with two five gallon buckets for the plants to get as big as they need... My question is, would this 1000 watt bulb be too hot for my room? Would it cause problems with anything guys n gals???? First grow, got the blueberry and northern lights growing as we speak...
I think your main problem is trying to grow with a mercury vapor bulb. 1000W lamps is way over kill for 2 plants, but can be done. You best get some killer AC to put in that room to cool it off.
