I decided not to get any ventilation or odor control kit, ill be putting 2 fans in the closet, and when its time for lights off, (18/6) ill leave the closet door a bit open for ventilation. I believe that the 600w hps will be too hot and too strong for the plant in the first week or 2 of vegetation, so ill be using 40w CFL's. I've decided to go with B'Cuzz nutes because their specifically made for cannabis. Let me know whether you think this is a good set up or not. Thanks in advance for your opinions!
What are the dimensions of your grow space? Growing with hot HID lights will make the room very hot. Humidity will also be a factor. You will also need to purchase more soil to fill 10 7gal pots. Please reconsider your ventilation options as this will allow you to have more control of your grow-space environment. -PG
Yeah dude you WILL need ventilation if you plan to use a 600w. Anything above a 400w. I mean, you want ventilation to provide the plants with enough CO2 as well but as long as you don't have 100 plants you should be alright in that respect. You aren't planning on growing them all are you? If so a 600w wouldn't be enough - not to mention you will need a fuckton more soil.
nah im only gonna be growing 3 at a time, so im pretty sure the 600w will be fine, if not I could add a couple CFL's. And I would think 2 - 3 fans, plus a a/c in the room will be fine, ill be keeping the a/c on fan, Temp will be controlled to around 72 - 77 degrees. And if that ventilation isn't enough CO2, How would I get more CO2 in there? Would a CO2 Tank be good? If so, how much do they usually go for?
Oh no, its just that if you don't have ventilation extracting air the you're just going to have stagnant air in the tent. It will become completely oxygen and will suffocate them. Is the tent going to be all closed up? If so the AC wont do anything without extraction because there will be nothing to bring in the cool air. It will become stagnant humid hot as fuck air. The 600w will be amazing for 3. I have five plants almost done flowering under a 600 and they love it. I'm planning on vegging 6-9 at a time doing perpetual, so you'll be good there.
I don't really know the dimensions, if I had to guess, id probably say 4x7 maybe? not exactly sure, and its not HID, Im growing with HPS, My bad if there the same thing lmao, pretty sure they aren't tho, and ill only be filling 3 of them for right now so I think ill have enough soil, if not ill have to get more, and you don't think 3 fans plus a ac running on fan isn't enough ventilation for 3 plants?

OP- if you aren't worried about the smell, drop the carbon filter setup..there's no need if smell isn't an issue. If you are growing in a closet you will need ventilation..air cooled hood not wing reflector. Basic fan and some ducting to go out the closet. If you are growing in a room no problem on temperature.
I think he said closet I just said that because I looked at both his lists and never saw a tent listed lol..if he's growing in a closet he will probably want an air cooled hood with a 600w instead of the wing reflector.

That might work if you don't have a filter connected..if you have a carbon filter you would need a 400cfm instead of the smaller one. Also if you can afford it go for a bigger sized hood..much better coverage than the smaller ones.
