Okay, so I just got done watching Mr. Green's "I Grow Chronic", and i was wondering what would be a good alternative to the 430 watt HPS bulb he uses in his flowering room? i kinda need to save energy wherever possible, but i need a light that's at least decent. any ideas? Also, which nutrients are good to add to the resivoir? Mr. Green didn't really say...
It honestly depends on the space you havre available. A decent 8 tube T-5 H/O would work well, you just have to buy extra tubes so you can swap out to more red during flowering. That would save you energy costs and possibly heating problems. I have used T-5'[s in the past and and have found them to work very well. less
