Does it matter what you use for the flooring? will a stapled tarp work or does it need to be reflective to grow better? building my first grow room on a budget and hoping my first couple harvests will help me finance a more profesional one. thanks in advance for any advice.
Be careful when choosing the floor for your growspace. I fucked up and used some plain ass black film. Remember you'll be moving your plants around... turning them and such, perhaps even taking them out to water... Films and tarps may rip. Then you've got a watery carpet/hardwood. Find something durable. Perhaps just a thicker Black film... They're all cheap. I just got the cheapest.
I got heavy clear plastic painters drop cloth, ran it a few layers thick, and taped it up the wall a few inches
Our flowering room floor is just painted plywood, our veg/starting room is just cement since it was built inside of the garage.

yeah i see there. awesome. I think i've got some of that plastic too. how many layers did you put down? 3?
