im curious how long each stage of growing lasts (vegetation, growing, flowering). aslo is there a way i can speed up the stages, right now my plant is about an inch and a half tall and 8 days old from the day i planted it. i have a 18w cfl on it. i dont have money for plant food. i water is once a little bit in the morning and a little bit around 10pm. light time is about 14hrs light 10hrs dark
If you are to keep your plants on 24/0 they will be at a constant vagatative state. This vegitative state should last about 4 weeks for most strains. Then switch to 12/12 until harvest. NOTE: Some strains like autoflowering strains(lowryder,great white ect.) will flower whether you switch the lights or not. Happy Growing
Whenever you think it's a suitable size for flowering, usually 4-5 weeks. Then when you switch to a 12/12 light cycle it will begin to flower for 6-10 weeks.
vegitative and growing stage are the same..... vegitative is light cycles of 24/0, 20/4, 18/6, 16/8 flowering is 12/12 no exceptions that i'm aware of. vegging stage can be FOREVER. basically you can veg your plant til it's the size of your house, but it will take forever.....as said earlier 4to 5 weeks there is No real set time, They are ready when you think they are...... and don't feed it any nutes until the first round set of leaves fall off... and it s better to water the soil adequately once than to water daily.....aim to water every 2 to4 days....
