bought this kit from culture indoor presuming the wiring would come with it, not so, arrived today with just bulb reflector and ballast to a noobie who thought he just had to plug it in , what cords wires do i need to get guys,? any info greatly appreciated even what cords etc to get would be great
from their website: http://www.cultureindoor.com/52-cable-prise-iec You need the power cord for the ballast, and a male and female iec cord to connect the socket to the ballast. Reason for the male/female is so you can thread the wire through a hole (such as a passive intake) without having to rewire the ballast everytime you install/uninstall the reflector.
Yep, that's the first cord I mentioned, power cord for the ballast. The cord that goes between the ballast and reflector has a male/female plug dividing it in two.
Dude I would bitch and tell them they FORGOT to send you these cords. All hoods should come with the power supply. Check real good the advertisement or page you got it from and try to see if it mentions it NOT having those. That's absurd man I got a similar looking hood to you for $125 out the door price at my store and it came with that crap. Not to mention mine has a cool tube and larger wing span on the reflectors they are actually deep with sides to them as to where that one is just a complete curve. And this is for a 1000W How much did you pay for that set up?
