  1. Grow Details:

    Room Size: 100 sqft
    Soil Grow/Indoors
Multiple 600 watt HPS 12/12 schedule
    Fox Farms Ocean Forest Soil
Fox Farms Grow Big, Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom
    Triple filtered tap water
    Temps: 65/85
    Humidity: 48-55%
Vented, Carbon Scrubber, 600CFM, 400 actual throughput.
    Ph 6.3 – 6.7

    Observations:

Plants show no signs of deficiency
    4-5 oz dry, most plants/strains
No difference between 2, 3 and 5 gal pots

Are there any recoommendations for significant improvement? I know a lot of people use custom mixed soils but that list could get rather lengthy. I am looking for the best bang for improvements. What is being missed?

I am about to order more soil and ferts and figured this is the best time to ask.

    Appreciate your time.

  2. ph should be no higher than 6.3 no lower than 6

  3. Hmmm, I thought the lower Ph is for Hydro, while soil should be 6.5, no?

  4. Yeah ph is lower for hydro mate, yours seems fine to me for soil.

You say 12/12 schedule, is that from seed?.....are you running autos?.

Either way 4-5 oz per plant dry is a good result....if there isn't any difference between the yield in pot sizes then I can only presume the best way to increase your yield is to allow for a longer vegging period.

  5.

No, not Autos. I am trying a longer veg period on some now and I'll see how that goes.

Do the autoflowering allow for more light time and produce more?

  6. ill let ya know i planted 5 nl autos on monday :p

  7. If you're getting 4-5oz per plant carry on the way you are and don't listen to "experts", you are one. How many plants and watts did you run?

  8.

Thanks! Appreciate it. 4 600 watt HPS lights in the room, 5X10 foot room.
