So I'm starting to get this grow box down. My temps run around 74-77. I'm a month in and I forgot to transplant my BG into a bigger pot. It was in a half gallon pot, but I transplanted her yesterday into a 3 gallon pot. I noticed the roots were at the bottom of the pot and they look good. Does anyone know if she will come thru? I looked at her today and she's standing up and looks good. I planted her in garden soil and perlite. My ph is 5-6 soil but don't know the water ph. One more thing i topped her a few weeks ago and she isn't growing anything from that site. The cfl are 3-4 inches from the plants and a total of 9500 lumens for the box. I'm using 6500k lights. Pictures in a few days. Thanks for your stop and info
After topping the two branch's closest to the point that you cut of will become the tops, and im sure your plants will start growing better soon after the transplant.
Should I wait how long before I switch to flowering? How long before she starts growing after I transplanted her?
You might want to wait a few days or until you notice new growth, unless you shocked your plant when transplanting you should be ready to go to flowering pretty quickly.
Thanks for the info. I hope she's not shocked. I looked at this morning and she looked good. You know much about clones? If you do what's the easiest ways to clone. Without sending a shit load of money. I taken clones before but it's been awhile. I put four of them in a humidity dome with some root powder on them. How long should I wait to plant? Thanks for the info again... Happy growing
Check out the first link in my sig there is some damn good info in there on cloning i believe its in the growing medium section of my shopping list.
I usually flower at 12 inch's the time depends on a lot of factors so i go by height, and since i never want my plants to be taller than 3 feet due to diminishing light i flower at 1 foot.
Are you soil or hydro? Soil all the way. But really thanks for the info. This is my first grow box, and first time. She's taking to the transplant well. Her leaves are at a high 45 degree angle. Loving it. Cfls? Scrog? Just want to pick your mind. Smoke on.
Im in soil for the moment ill move to hydro when i get more experience, glad to hear your plants taking the transplant well they usually do seem to flourish after wards. As far as picking my brain on cfls or scrog go you can again check out the first link in my sig its pretty much my collective growing knowledge.
Thanks.. And yes heat and smell are somewhat of a issue. Trying out a few odor eaters and adding one more computer fan. Any ideas? Not buying anything off the web just local or home depot.. Thanks again
When the lights are on it's around 80-82. Lights off 72. I'm working on one myself but should I rinse the active carbon? Should it be in the box or can I put it on the outside where my exit fans are? I'm going to put the lights close to the fan that means the plants will be on a stand. I have four 3 inch intake holes, one fan blowing up and one fan blowing in on one of the holes. Their doing great but if I can get the temps down they would be wonderful... Thanks again
One week into flower. Lst with 10000 lumens. Hope can get at least some smoke before the holidays begin..
