FInished my box today. Finally got it 100% light tight.. the box is 3'8" wide 2'deep and 6' tall... Im thinking that im going to want a little more light in it once i start up. Im using just one solarflare 220 full cycle.. I would like to keep it all LED's. im thinking..another solar flare..but are 2 solarflares 220 full cycle just as poerfull as the solarstorm440 Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated
maybe replacing the Solaflare 220 with the solar storm 440..... would be better than 2 solarflare 220s?
Im just starting to build my cabinet to darn near the same dimensions, 22"x44"x70". I've never grown so I'll be using CFLs until I have a handle on what I'm doing. After that I'll upgrade to some nice LEDs. If all things are equal (price, efficiency, output) I'd go with 2 220s. Redundancy is best if one of them fails. But I'm a pretty "glass half-empty" type guy and that's just my 2 cents (all theory since I haven't grown yet, just read a lot on the Internet).
