I'm kinda new here so bear with me. I already have an outdoor grow going on and harvest is soon approaching and all my babies are doing well, but i've decided that I also want to start doing an indoor stealth grow as well. So here is what i was thinking of getting/doing and any input or advice on what i should or shouldnt is well appreciated. To start off I just picked a storage cabinet today at walmart with the dimensions 35 5/8 H X 25 5/8 W X 18 7/8 D. I'm gonna paint it all white on the inside to get the most out of my lights which brings me to my first question; Would a 150w HPS and some CFL's do alright in that amount of space in terms of keeping the inside at an adequate temperature and lighting my plant(s)? I only plan on growing one plant as of right now but how many could i fit in there comfortably if im using LST with just using the 150w HPS / CFL's? Last question: would two 80mm fans do the trick with keeping the heat down if i have one intake and one exaust? Thanks for your time, feel free to suggest some better ideas, try and keep stealth in mind though.
To be honest you should just research. Its the process of learning. But since I'm here, you take the square footage of your box (LxW). Inside your box you can range anywhere from 2,000 - 5,000 Lumens. Take your sq' x 5000= How many Lms needed 150 watt Hps give off approx 16,000 Lms horizontally I personally stick with HPS, they very from different wattage. You can make cool tubes for your light or buy one. You also need a ballast to run hps. For your Fans it depends on what light you choose and how hot it will be.
