Hi all this is my 2nd grow My set up is 4x4x8 Rino thermostatic fan Rino carbon fliter 6" rino inline ducting fan 400w hps for veggin first 2-3 weeks 600w hps light for flowering Nutrients Terra Leaves for growth cycle Terra max for bloom cycle ATAMI bloombastic Canna PK 13/14 Lighting times 18/6 for first 3-4 weeks Lighting times 12/12 4-10 weeks Sweetseeds black cream auto ×4 Sweet seeds caramel cream auto ×4 Northen lights auto x 2 Just poped seeds in to soil will keep updateing as days go by hope ..... Yep. If you’re growing autos, your light schedule should be either 18/6 or 20/0 from beginning to end. Autos benefit from maximum light, and they don’t need your help to flower. You won’t grow large autos on a 12/12 light schedule. It will grow, but not to its full potential. Also, if you can avoid vegging with HPS, then avoid it. Get a CMH for vegging and since it seems you can run two ballasts at once, run something else with the ceramic (or regular) metal halide bulb, or run your HPS as well, but primary light during veg should be metal halide.
