Hi all! Everyone has been such a terrific help here and I've learned a LOT! We're at cruising altitude these days with the indoor grow! Now on to spring....I have cleared the sod/grass from an area outside and want to start prepping the soil for spring. NO CLUE where to start! I have two items...a load of horse manure and a 50# bag of potash....where do I start??? We built our home on 40 acres of farmland, so hoping the soil isn't too depleted...I do know that I have to add N to our lawn to make it nice and green! We have a sandy loam soil, so I'm not sure of what amendments it will need. Since it's not a hard clay soil, will I need vermiculite or perlite? What are some of the basics that I can do now, and let it sit over the winter months? Sod is gone and earth has been worked up with a tiller. I refuse to deal with another indoor summer grow! Even with central air, it was a real struggle for little yield! Time to head outside! All information and suggestions are greatly appreciated on this end! Y'all have gotten me this far!!! BTW: The area being used is approx. 20x30....need enough room for 12 girls. That's our limit here. Thanks!
