Grinding without a grinder - help?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Shabab, Mar 28, 2010.

  1. So I don't have a grinder but I need to grind my weed. I have been using my fingers.

Any other suggestions? I hear your fingers absorb THC.

  2. coffee grinder or knife, scissors are the only things i can think of.

  3. scissors and cup.

  4. you can get diff. types of grinders at different shops, but a piece of paper is a must, paper is one of your best friends now that you smoke weed haha. scissors, you can put one hand over weed to make sure nothin flies around, or a coffee grinder, those are amazing and you can get tons of crystals out of them. but, i just use my fingers or some scissors. im chill with doing that, doesnt take me long.
unless im grinding like, a quarter, then i'd DEF use a grinder.

  5. If you are without a grinder a pair of scissors and a shot glass will do just fine. Before I bought a grinder I always used that method and it worked great for me :smoking:

  6. yeah pair of scissors and shot glass is the best bet.

  7. Even now my preffered method is a pair of small scissors(nail/cuticle scissors work best IMO) and a shallow dish or even a shot glass or piece of paper.
Use clean scissors and try to cut evenly, very east and quick for small amounts.

  8. The THC gets on your finger when you break it up, but think about it tho no matter what you use your still going to get THC on everything you use to break it up.

  9. Not really. It's the oil on your skin(especially in your hands) that absorbs it. So no, not everything that you use to break it up will absorb THC and cannabinoids.
