Grinders: Question about usage

    When you use a grinder, do you first pick the seeds/stems and then grind it, or do you just grind the bud and come how pick it after?

    take out the seeds and as much stem as you can

    As much stem as I can without picking the stuff or pick it and take stem out then grind?

    the shit i get doesnt have any seeds so i just put it in in nug form.

    Take out anything besides the pure flower. You'll get a nice even grind :]

    I've thrown buds in without completely de-stemming, and it's been fine. Sometimes a little harder to spot stems depending on how much you grind it. Can't speak about seeds, since I only find seeds once in a great while.

    Anyway, even with the harder-to-spot stems, it still saves time and gives you a nicely ground herb vs. breaking up buds by hand. Not to mention the benefit of the kief collector :p

    Pick out what you want before grinding I guess. If you have a good grinder you can throw it all in there and grind it up real good. It should bust all the seeds and stems up to where you can smoke it without noticing unless it has a shitload of either.

    If the seeds are falling through before being busted up, just hold your grinder upside down while you turn it

    i pick the buds off the stem starting at the bottom and working up towards the top of the nug, throw away the stems and grind it up. any little stems that you missed that dont get grinded up just pick out after. i never get seeds but if i did i would take as many out as possible before grinding.

    If the shit is seedless, you want to remove as much of the stem as possible (If it's being plucked from a big bud. Otherwise, pull off what you wish and throw it on the grinder..good shit idc, stems IMO you will not notice unless it's a LOT).

    Anything else, with seeds and such...pluck apart, remove the seeds, and stems. Throw in grinder, and enjoy. (At least with weed with stems, you can remove all seeds but not worry about breaking it up by finger 100%).
