Grinders are so much more efficient!

Discussion in 'Other Smoking Accessories' started by nugs man, Jan 22, 2010.

  1. I just bought a grinder and it seems like it makes more weed. like i'll pull out a nug and think, "okay, this will suffice." But everytime its like 4 bowls...twice as much as i was expecting, which is awesome! It is definitely a lot more efficient than scissors or fingers, for sure.

I just wanted to share my experience with my new grinder. it's a 3 inch chromium with kief catcher/screen.

  2. Same thing happened to me man, it just makes your bud go way farther. Especially combined with my new vaporizer - I feel like if I picked up as much as I used to now I'd be set for like a month haha.

  3. haha that's exactly what i was thinking

  4. I <3 my grinder. I get pretty clumsy when I smoke, but my grinder is magnetic, so my bud stays secure when the inevitable nudge or push does happen.

  5. im buying a grinder very soon, one with a screen so i can collect a very nice amount of thc. i am also buying a new smoking device soon any ideas of what i should get? im going to spend about 40$ on it

  6. with $40 to spend on a piece i'd buy a little bubbler from a local headshop... that is if i didn't already have one lol.
but seriously bubblers nice to have

  7. thats true, but i also sorta really want a nice bong, i dont know what to do:p

  8. I'd love to hear the logic behind that unless we're talking time efficiency.

  9. yea scissors+shot glass is the way to go. I like it beter than using a buster(grinder for you americans) but its jsut not as portable

  10. weed efficiency. as i already said, it seems like i conserve more by using a grinder rather than scissors. Time is also a benefit! either way, it was well worth the $25.

  11. If you want a bong, then save up for a good one. A cheapish but still very good selection of bongs I recommend is from EDIT. I got a nice 500mL EHLE with every attachment except for an ashcatcher for about $160. Talking EHLE brand diffuser, activated carbon filter, gauze, a nice bowl, etc. Hits like a champ although it hasn't gotten much love lately ever since my PD vap came in.

To the OP yeah grinders are awesome. I got a 5pc Sharpstone and I absolutely love it. Bowls do seem to last longer, as I put a little of the "base" weed, then I add some of the finer amount, then top it off with some tasty kief. :)

  12. my hands are my grinder, i dont smoke stems and fine leaves on bud so my hands work better for me. btw when i use my fingers i dont compress the bud i pull it apart to give a more grinder like effect. But for jamaican sess, a grinder is helpful cause that shit is like hash.

  13. Greetings All,
I find grinders & vaporizers to be a pain in the a** I could of rolled & me 1 smoked it & went on about my business

  14. where can one procure a magical grinder such as this?

  15. I have a Sharp Stone. Looks like this:

The blue one to be exact. It works great. The cheapy one I had before this one, was very labor-intensive when actually grinding. It would often get stuck. The Sharp Stone works like a charm.

  16. I love my grinder im gathering keif so much

I have this grinder (not this color unfortunately - mine is eye-searingly yellow). It only cost a few bucks and does the trick but the teeth dull quickly and it collects a lot of res. I'm hoping to invest in a good metal grinder soon b/c a good grinder is indispensable. That and some screens and you're set :bongin:

  18. I'm a proud member of the Space Case family.

  19. Just google imaged Space Case. Beautiful! Is it weird that I teared up a little looking at it, lol. I want one!

  20. It's the same logic that demonstrates using scissors is better than just throwing a nug in a pipe.

To each their own. I can barely remember a time when I haven't ground up my weed. And vaporizing is my preferred method, much more efficient.
