Grinder with Bong

    I have a generic beaker bong that's Glass on Glass with a tree perc.I was wondering if you guys use your grinder when you use your bong. I usually tell my friends not to use the grinder because I don't want ash in the water. What are your opinions?

    I always, always grind with a bong. It burns more even and smokes better.

    i know i do i just put a decent sized chunk in first, and the grind the rest of the weed so it burns even and longer....

    always grind. just use a screen

    I do...bongs are the only pipes I use a screen on for real. I got a pretty nice green glass on glass slide bong...I have a glass screen for it...and I use the grinder all the time the screen helps me smoke all the weed till its gone. Before then I used to get pissed cause I would lose like a hit and a half because it would get sucked down into the water.

    I always grind no matter what I'm smoking out of, and I don't get why everyone puts a larger chunk in the hole, seems like it would clog easy...just get some screens, they are like $1 for 10 of them.

    True I guess I'll go to one of the four headshops tomorow. Gotta love burlington. But doesn't grinded up weed burn faster? Seems like that's what happens. Someone needs to do an experiment.

    Grinded up weed can burn faster. That doesn't mean it will. It all depends on how well you pack the bowl. The tighter/denser you pack it, the slower it will burn.
