Grinder vs breaking by hand

I smoke a lot so it's nice to just grind up a couple g's and pack from that for a while rather than breaking up by hand every time I pack. Also, id say more crystals get lost sticking to your fingers since grinders have a kief catcher.. Kief is awesome. Also I vape a lot so grinder is ideal..

 

I am going to learn how to roll tonight, so grinder. But then again I grind anyways

I'm oldschool. My hand and scissors is what I use.

 

Scissors get the job done for me. No reason to own more illegal equipment.

 

grinders are great for bowls man fuck joints and blunts they are a waste of weed and time. i also agree with bobby you waste way more thc breaking it up by hand since it is stuck to your finger and you never get to smoke that where as when it falls in your catcher you can smoke it later

 

i have done both, i went from a smoking noob using a beer can turned pipe breaking up with my hands to having a water pipe and a grinder now, but i will say this, I personally prefer the keif on my weed as apposed to using it in the keif catcher and putting on top of my weed it always makes like a liquid spot when i throw the keif on top. then again i dont normally pack a bowl and put keif on i normally smoke everything the smoke the keif

see im still oblivious to half of the shit i can do with marijuana, idk how to make hash dont even know what it is to be honest with you.

 

Hash is a processed form of weed, it's mostly trichomes. If you're so new to smoking, you won't really need to know how to make hash.

 

why not, thats what stumps me lol. i mean i have been smoking for like 3 months now. heavily so i have smoked my share lol

Haha I've been smoking for close to 8 or 9 months, and I still haven't looked into hash. But to each their own is what I say

 

I prefer the grinder. I look at the kief catcher like my Weed 401K. Every time I smoke, a little bit gets saved up for later.

 

everytime i break up by hand i can feel and smell a ton of material stuck on my fingers. no matter how much i try to clean them off above the stash im rolling i feel like i lose some.

with my grinder, ill get off most of the stem as i can, grinder up, and use a folded index card to lift the weed out and pour my snap into my bowl. then i dont touch the bud at all and nothing is lost.

to each his own though, everyones gotta preference as to how they do things.

 

Scissors, bowls, scales....all of it becomes "illegal equipment" when shit hits the fan. All they do is run a swab over it to see if it tests positive, and bang, another count of paraphernalia.

To each their own tho...I use scissors if I'm in the mood to, but otherwise, 4-piece Space Case FTW.

EDIT: I've also found that grinding the bud even finer than what my grinder can do using a mortar and pestle makes a HUGE difference in vaporizers (particularly my MFLB).

Now I know most of you are freaking out thinking I'm pulverizing the trichs into nothingness with a mortar and pestle, but I can assure you the herb is still VERY potent, and again, seems to work MUCH better in a vape.
