Grinder questions

  1. O i bought a $19 Cosmic grinder of this website online. Its a magnetic grinder. The problem i have is that I've only used it like 4 times and its already getting hard to turn. I looked and theres sone weed stuck to the sides and i have to pick it out with a needle. Am i having these problems cause its a cheap or magnetic grinder? Should i invest in a high quality grinder?

  2. Can you post a pick? Pieces of bud always get stuck in the teeth and what not but I've never seen one get so stuck up that its hard to turn.

  3. Every metal grinder I've had/used was magnetic. How sticky we're the buds? Mine gets a little rough to turn but then I clean it and it's fine.

Pieces dont get stuck in the teeth they get stuck on the sides and it gets way harder to turn

  5. You should invest in a space case. Much better quality

  6. You're just going to have to pick out the pieces when they get stuck. You could also try putting a SMALL AMOUNT of lubricant like WD-40 on the outer rim of the grinder - always fixes mine. Just make sure you don't get it inside the grinder or you'll end up smoking some funky shit.

  7. Maybe its just be a badly made grinder then. Every grinder I've ever had could grind up a few ounces before it got any significant amount of bud built up around the sides and on the teeth. Unless you don't mind scraping it all the time, I'd just throw it out and go buy another from a headshop.

  8. Put a little effort into it next time. When mine gets hard to turn I just man handle like a man.

  9. You're just gonna have to get used to cleaning it every once in a while unless you want to invest in a space case.
I'm pretty sure you can get a small 2-piece for under 30 bucks on ebay, though I'd recommend the medium titanium 4-piece(if you can justify the price)

  10. investing in a high quality grinder is so worth it,
always smooth grinding + always consistent
having to replace & replace second rate ones just isn't for me.

nobody ever regrets grabbing a high quality grinder!
    its worth it.

  11. If its really dank shit just make sure you put less in the grinder next time, if you have a smaller buster and you throw more than an eigth of really dank shit its going to get jammed up easily. Unless the teeth are really crap and its some shit grinder I don't see that happening, especially If you haven't used it more than 10 times. I have a metal "spyral" grinder, its kinda cheap, only payed 25 for it but I've been using it for over 3 months and there hasn't been a time where I COULDN'T turn it. Post a pic of your grinder, showing the outside and the teeth, and it'll give us a better idea of what you're working with, but if you spent $19 for it I don't see why it would be giving you such a hard time unless you're overloading it with really sticky weed.

  12. I too have a Cosmic, make sure to remove stems & not to put more than the grinder can hold. The teeth on the Cosmic are attached to the top so just because you don't have to worry about breaking teeth doesn't mean you can load it up fulla bud.

The stickiness from buds can turn black over time in your grinder. I am going to shoot a video on how to clean this now.. its simple rather.

Check the video out if you want, its comparing Sharpstone, Chromium, & Cosmic.
