I had a sharpstone grinder for 4 months. It was working fine up until yesterday. It won't grind like it used to. It just gets all gunked up in the teeth. It doesn't fall to the bottom. The herb turns hard and little. I thought it disappeared. It will look like dog shit or like rock candy. So hard to burn. Should I get a new one/better one? Has this happened to anyone else? What should I do?
Clean that fucker out. Empty it out real well and pour some Iso alcohol in it, close it up and shake for a minute or two. Empty the alcohol into a glass bowl or something like that. After the alcohol evaporates, you get iso hash. Meanwhile, your grinder should work much better.
Denatured is the most pure alcohol so use that and a toothbrush to get it like new clean. ISO from the pharmacy is only 80% at best so that's still 20% water. Usually in the paint dept next to the thinner and acetone. Great for cleaning bongs too. BNW
