Grinder keif question.

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Inlinebub, Nov 19, 2011.

  1. I got a grinder yesterday and probably ground up around a quarter with it. Now I have some good keif building up in the 3rd chamber and went to check it today but there are little black specs all in it. I have heard of people getting mold on weed but never getting any on mine and was curious if thats what it would look like. I tried to take a picture but my cameras too shitty.

  2. The different colored specs could be plant material. I'm not sure it will be hard to tell without pics.

Are they shiny? Like flakes of metal? Did you run some paper through first thing, to rid shavings??

Again not a very good picture but if you look real close up there are tiny black specs throughout the green. It don't look like the green and I didn't see anything on it when I checked out the ground up bud up top. Not shiny either.

  4. It could just be the kief. Or metal shavings since you said the grinder is new. I always grind paper first in new grinders. I say it's fine.

  5. If the black specs are like sticky gunk like texture, it's just like dirty and stuff. I get it in the sides where the chambers screw together, but not in the chambers typically (if it's what I'm talking about).
