Grinder in the freezer

    Figure this is the best part of the forum for this. Anyways, I just got a space case and wouldn't want to damage it in anyway, so I was wondering if there are any negative effects of putting a grinder into the freezer? If there are I'm just going to stick to what I normally do and just use it without the freezer, but if there are no negative side effects I figure extra keif never hurt anyone, so what do you guys think?

    I have a space case as well. I don't think this will hurt the grinder itself, but it may damage the white o-ring. Fear of this is what has been keeping me from doing an ISO wash to get some hash. I'm worried the alcohol will damage the ring.

    I put my grinder in the freezer for like 20 minutes or so.

    Take it out turn it upside down and start banging away at a table so kief falls out... If its like a 5 section one then you will need to re put it in the freezer as your hand will make it warm again.

    If you can do this carefully, use a knife and scrape away at the linings also using the knife to scratch the catcher filter.

    ULTRA KIEF!!!!

    even if you put in an 1/8th of fine bud you shall get alot of kief forreal!!! i did this 2 days ago.

    Nope i dont do this but yet again im using a shitty dorm made grinder
