Grinder Help Please

yea looks like theres no kif collector there just a nice little space to hold all you grinded up herb

 

Is there a screen? If there is you can collect keif... If not then maybe that's just like a stash area?? Idk kinda confusing.

Ok I think I see now, the bottom set if teeth has holes, so if there's a screen on the bottom of it, it will collect keif. Remove seeds and large stems before grinding.

Just so you know, that's just about the crappiest grinder you could have bought.
3 piece is THE worst. 2 piece is simple and portable, 4 piece collects good keif.

Whatever grinder you have though, make sure to grind up some paper or tobacco, empty it, then wash it with alcohol and rinse it thoroughly before using it for the first time. Let it air dry completly as well, it's very important.

 

Actually my friend has that grinder. It really is a piece of crap but it works. Lol.

The screen sits right under the blades so the weed actually is contained where the teeth are unlike most grinders where the screen is offset from the teeth so weed can fall through into a separate space from the teeth.

So yes, you do have a kief collector, the bottom chamber, that's why the screen is there. The weed sits in the teeth chamber and the kief sits in the empty chamber. The plastic X seems to be something they gave you to pick the weed from the teeth and scrape the kief from the other chamber.

 

Idk man I'd set that X thing aside for now.

No the keif would obviously fall through the screen into a seperate chamber.
But it will be very low quality keif and some of that will remain stuck in the screen and is unretreivable for the most part since that is such a low quality grinder.

Next time you've got $20 laying around, order at least a 4 piece Chromium Crusher, it's a big step up from those Chinese/Indian made things.

 

Get a grinder that has a seperate chamber for both Keif and the bud, it'll save you a lot of hassle. Mine has the teeth, then there are holes in the bottom for the actual grinded bud to fall through, THEN in that chamber theres a screen for the keif to fall through and the grinded bud stays obviously above the screen.
