greenhouse harvest

  1. I have posted a few times here, I am getting ready to plant in a greenhouse some seeds I ordered. As I planned this I thought I would throw some bagseeds in a pot to learn with. So I did about 2 months ago. Started w/ 6, Filtered down to 3. I read here alot, and I see that indoors you force the plant to flower by reducing light. Is there anyway to do such a thing in a greenhouse? Would limiting the light the plants get in the gh help? These bad boys are about 15", dont really want these to get too big, want to focus on a new batch done per the city's advise and guides. Is there anyway to force this thing now to flower, even though the yeild will be much less?

  2. if the greenhouse is small enough you can cover it with a thick blanket to keep the plants in darkness for 12 hours. makes sure you always take it on and off at the same times though.

  3. I am in Maryland, now it is only light about 12-13 hours a day. In summer it will be 14 hours of sunlight. Would reducing the light to 8 or 10 hours help or hurt the situation. I don't mind waiting, but would really like to have gone thru the whole process before I start the real deal.

  4. I'd try 11 hours first, then if you don't see it starting to flower after a week or two try 10 hours.
