Greenhouse getting too hot???

  1. My temps in my greenhouse today is almost 90f with 34% humidity. Do I need to be concerned about the temp, maybe vent a bit more to get it down? Have one plant about 7 weeks old vegging in natural light.

    Thanks

  2. Get another fan or two and increase air flow and maybe let it air out when it gets over 84

  3. No fan unless I go with a battery powered since I'm off grid. The greenhouse is small and temporary until the outside temps come up a bit, just A framed a few old windows and covered the sides with plastic. I have vents in the plastic to allow air exchange just with natural breezes and wind.

I think my thermometer was in direct sunlight and getting a pumped up reading, temp was probably closer to 80 or just over. Of course it's measuring temp at ground level not plant height, that I need to change I know.

  4. I would raise ur humidity. Also raise ur night time temp so the peak heat an peak cold stay within 15 degrees f of each other. Other than that, not much u can do. Maybe some b vitamins to keep the stress down

If ur not using co2, u should consider it. It will actually help ur plants benefit from an extra 10 degrees of heat!
    lovin u (=
