I suspect since I have a farm these are cabbage worms AM picking all infecceted leafs off and will be useing a diulted mixer of procure is this the proper solution? would like HELP Thanks the GANJAFAIRY
Pictures? The product you are referring to is a nasty chemical fungicide - NOT an insecticide, from all the websites I just poked through. Cite: triflumizole (Terraguard, Procure) EPA Pesticide Fact Sheet 10/91 http://www.agrian.com/pdfs/Procure_480SC_015072511_Label4r.pdf This site may help you identify your caterpillars - Welcome to BugGuide.Net! - BugGuide.Net Remember, whatever you end up doing to eradicate your bugs, you or someone else will end up smoking the plant so I'd have to highly suggest using an organic insecticide. If this were me I would be using organic neem oil with an emulsifier (to break down the oil - neem oil will not mix with water) and a surfectant such as aloe Vera juice, which helps spread the neem out evenly on the leaves. Most insecticides take more than one application to break the insects egg cycle, so always do a second and even a third treatment 3-4 days between. J
Or protekt works well as an emulsifier and gives silicon to your plants. Who wants to smoke soap anyways?
Dont use any shitty tasting substances on the worms. they are considered a delecacy here in malaya. i would use them as a side harvest. just lightly simmer them over an open fire or eat raw.
You may want to try some BT (Thuricide). It is a bacteria that kills caterpillars once they eat leaves sprayed with it. Organic and safe as far as I know. I have no experience with it on cannabis but I use it all the time in my veggie garden with great success. Hope that helps.
