  1. what are the green squares on the left of the text session of a thread? the one that you can hover the pointer from the mouse and it will say about me "received neither good or bad karma. what that mean?

  2. its rep, people can give it out to other people for having either a good or bad post. above someones post on the right side youll see a scale thing, you click that and then you click if you like the message and wanna give them good rep, or if you want to give them bad rep and you don't like the message. Ill start you off and give you rep+ :smoke:

  3. thank you, i gave you rep+

  4. how do you see who gave you rep...?

  5. I don't think you can.. I couldn't ever figure that one out.

  6. anyone give me an answer on this one?

  7. on the left up close to the top it'll say "user cp" in there, but only if they leave a message or their name..............Peace out............Sid

  10. mmm not too sure, a red one is bad rep.........but purple........maybe something to do with whether or not the blade that gave you good or bad rep is online......maybe..........Peace out........Sid

  11. dunno abput purple, grey is from a new user tho befor that is asked

  12. Haha, I also have a purple square and the message the person left me is, "u weak ass bitch". Haha, That's the only Rep I've recieved on The City so far.

  13. lol, maybe purple is bad from a new user, i dunno...

  14. Hah, the person who left that comment is obviously a bad representation of grasscity..

  15. I wonder how you get more then one square. I have like 86 rep points and only one square. Anyone know the increments that rep increases.

  16. we havent quite pinpointed how much will get you up to the next box. hang around and make some post that make sense, make you laugh or piss people off, whatever you choose to do, whatever influence you make will get you points one way or another. you musta got some more rep recently, looks like your up to 2 now :D

  17. i think the number that rep increases by is linked to who gave it, rumjilly and other prominent members seemed to up mine a fair bit...

Yup, this is true. A number of factors determine how much a rep click is worth. The main one's being length of time at the City. Another is your post count. Users with higher post counts have rep that is worth more than low post count members. Admin rep points are worth more per click too. For example, a click from Rummy, SJ, or I is worth at least 1 full green square, or over 100 points if you want to look at it that way.

  19. I thought that it was a negative rep point, but I think it also has something to do with the post count of the user that left the rep. Trying to dig it out is like looking for a needle in a haystack, LOL. :D
