  1. Questions....

Has any one ever use a green spectrum light during the dark period?

I have a brand of lights that advertise safe for “photo sensitive plants”, should I use them during dark period?

    Thanks.

  2. Using a "green only" light will allow you to work in your room/tent during lights off. Green light doesn't affect the plants.

    Cheers

  3. Thanks man

That’s what they told me at the store, but sounded to good to be true;)

  4. Acually green light will affect the plants, they can photosynthesis quite a bit of green light.

But if you use a dim incandescent bulb that is tinted green, it may be too dim to affect the plants.

  5. I don’t think it’s necessary to run them the whole darkness period. what you want is Infrared (IR)but most just run them 15 minutes after lights go out. but like mentioned if you want to do something in your grow a green light is your best bet as long as it’s not too bright.
