Green light bulbs

    i know these could be turned on for dark period with no side effects but say i have like a pinhole light leak, could i leave the green light on for the whole night cycle?

    funny you should mention this ........the pc fan i use to move the air around in my grow space has green led lights on it ,which i cant disconect without wreckin the fan so i have to turn the fan off during the dark period as im sure they would confuse the plant somehow ? anyone agree ? my understanding is that any light in the dark period would be bad ?

    Green is the ONLY light that is safe during the dark cycle :smoking:

    im confused now lol im sure its just the glass on the led bulb that is green i dont think the actual colour spectrum of the light emitted is green ?:confused:

    If its green to your eyes its green to a plant......when I was overseeing several Opps......my days were full and sometimes I needed to work during the dark cycle of a room..checking PPM's and PH and water level etc.
    I used a headlamp with a green filter on it and never had a problem....:cool:

    You should have no problems with that small amount of green light. What about covering it with somthing like say a small piece of duct tape. Just a thought.
