Green Laser Hits

Discussion in 'Other Smoking Accessories' started by Just a Canadian, Oct 12, 2010.

  1. I just though of this amazing idea after smoking a J. I just ordered a military grade green laser online. This laser produces 200mW and is powerful enough to burn through paper or light a match. So it got me thinking, Solar hits are very pure because there is only the weed burning no butane or other shit. So has anyone ever tried doing a green laser hit?

I will post pics once my laser comes in the mail.

**WARNING: DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME. THESE HIGH POWERED LASERS CAN DAMAGE VISION IN 0.25 OF A SECOND. **

I will be wearing protective glasses at the time of my attempt.

For now, let me know if any of you have tried this or what you think of the idea.

  2. Sounds cool (like Dr. Eeevil "frickin' bongs with lasers!" cool), BUT it also sounds just a bit too dangerous to have around stoners.

It's bad enough that you have to worry about someone being careless and breaking your bong, but breaking your bong AND going blind at the same time?

If you're going to combust the weed anyway(vs. vaping), I'd just settle for the purity offered with hempwick rather than look for this kind of "purity". That being said, you're probably one of the only guys in your state that lights his bong with a frickin' laser.

  3. I havent actually tried it yet, I'm waiting for the laser in the mail. I don't at all think its a good way to light a bowl, but I just think it would be a great thing to try considering I have never seen it done. I will definitely post a video upon completion.

  4. Sounds like an awesome idea! You should definitely let us know how that turns out.

Lighting up your green with some green :smoke:

  5. If it works you have just started a revolution

  6. I dont see the point of all this getting a laser to light bud? I mean why pay so much money and risk your eye balls just to get a "pure" hit......lmao sounds dumb.

  7. I bought the laser before I even though of this. I am not going to do this on a regular basis, I just want to try it once, and be a trailblazer. Like I said in the OP, I will be wearing protective goggles to protect my eyes.

  8. I have thought about this before. Get a bong and attach the laser onto the neck, so that it is pointing down at the bowl, with only like an inch clearance. Attach it on there permanently, so it can't move or anything like that. Make like a button, next to the bowls gauge. It would be fucking sweet.

    *edit*
In fact, this made me search youtube. This is fucking sick.

  9. That video is dope, I like how he rips it, sits down and takes a few sips of tea, than rips it again.

  10. Not exactly what I am thinking of, dang I need to get this laser so I can show you all.

  11. just a canadian did you order a new wish laser or a legit 200mW?

  12. I ordered the E3 from Wicked Lasers.com

  13. My friend had one and it didn't really cherry up and rip. Some trichs got torched, a tiny wisp of smoke came up, and the spot we aimed at turned brown. Maybe if the bud was super fine ground up.

  14. The laser I am getting is illegal to citizens of the United States. It is much more powerful than the consumer grade green lasers.

  15. So is weed. And that website ships to the US and my friend got it online... His burnt through paper and lit a match too. It wasn't like, instantaneous though.

  16. Ya, this laser lights matches instantaneously.

  17. PROTIP: You can also light firecrackers with them :D

    Goooooood times haha.

  18. there is a tutorial on youtube on how to make a laser lighter i figure you could use it for weed too

  19. My good friend brought a powerful laser he could play with. After playing around with it, we couldn't get the bud to light. We tried it again a few days later with much drier bud (to the point you couldn't grab it without it breaking apart) and it worked perfectly. Gotta hold it for a few seconds but the perfect corner tool.
