So we needed a laser for a project at school and this is the one we got. Its so fun to play with, the beam goes FOREVER. I can point at clouds with this thing. Its only 5mw tho so no burning things or popping balloons with it. EDIT: 500th Post
you're making me real sad, mine got water spilled on it and stopped working it was a 50mw, whats that one? it cost me friggin $100 on ebay and now its gone. I could shine it on the mountains that were 4 miles away, I could melt dark plastic and sear skin. it was aweomse man, enjoy it.
Is it possible to light bowls with those green lasers? Think of how healthy that would be -- no possible chance of butane inhalation.
not with one of those but yea with the rediculously overpriced ones you could, although another color would be more efficient like red cuz since bud is green it reflects green light more than other light.
Yes, I suppose, but I don't know if the color of weed would really make that much of a difference when it comes to whether a green laser would light it or not. And as far as I know, none of those types of lasers that are red are of a high enough power to catch anything on fire.
Lol god I want one of the really powerful ones... and I've never even really considered lighting a bowl with one, but I'm sure they could do it. And I don't think the green color of bud would do anything to keep it from burning. Badass. Somebody needs to try it.
a little powerful laser would be cool but I want a big powerful laser. ive been doin research on co2 lasers for a few months and I plan on building one once I know how to safely wire a voltage multiplier with a neon sign transformer. should be 20,000 - 40,000 watts when its done, I don't think you could smoke with that though haha
