Green Crack Punch, Critical Mass, and Khalifa Kush Grow Journal

Hows it going GC. Its been a long time since i grew anything. And decided to get back into it. Ill be growing Green Crack Punch, Critical Mass and Khalifa Kush. Ill be using my dresser i built, with 6 100w equivalent 6500k cfl bulbs for veg ( i think they are 60w bulbs ). Im growing in soil for this grow, and will be using Fox Farms Trio for nutes, and i have some Big Bud nutes, which i never used before so i gotta research that.
The K.k. and GCP seeds sprouted on July 2, and the CM sprouted today July 4th.

The lights are a simple setup. But everything is in the dresser build link.

 

Kk and GCP hit 1 week from sprout on july 9th and and CM on the 11th.
i started adding F.f. nutes for the seedling stage but then the Kk and CM started changing colors. So i started giving it straight distilled water again. The Kk seems to be doing better but the Cm doesnt seem to be.

 

Well the Growstar quit on me in the middle of a grow.
So i bought a full spectrum BloomSpec b600 and it was to much for the little space. So cfls it was. plus i know they can make really nice buds in small spaces.
However............. i just received my 4x4 tent and got it all setup, and its using the Bloomspec light. i have 1 plant in there right now, this is a bagseed grow in a dwc hydroponic system using it will be using jacks classics 20-20-20 for the veg nutes. the container is a 1 gallon bucket with a 5 inch net pot, a little airstone 1 maybe 2 inchs long, and a walmart dual fish tank air pump. last time i checked the ph it was at a 5.4, but that was a few days ago when i topped the water level off. it seems to be fine so i let it ride. lol.

however the other 3 are my main concerns.

2nd week from sprout update

July 16 GCP & Kk hit 2 weeks from sprout. K kush is do alot better, while GCP is starting to take off.




The CM hits its 2nd week from sprout july 18th. Its condition has improved and is showing vertical growth now.

I think im running into a problem with my plants K.kush and GCP. They both have discoloration on their leaves.

the GCP fan leave edges and tips look to be turning lighter green or in transitioning to yellow.



The Kk leaves look to be turnin yellowish in the middle. but i cant tell if its zinc, mag, or something else cant remember atm. And they all look the same to me

I gave the kk and gcp a shot of full strength fox farm ferts for week 2 ask per their soil chart which is 6tsp of big bloom, and 2 tsp of grow big per gallon. then i gave them a shot of plain distilled water.

 

kk, gcp, and cm 4 weeks from sprout. Problems still exists.









Am i seeing things, or are these blooming pistels on the kk. if it is, i guess its time to start the blooming ferts.

 

its been a while. i put the GCP, k.Kush, and cm in the hydro tent. they are doing better now. Especially the cm.

i made the dresser my cloning station. just cut 2 clones off the GCP

 

yes...... it was me, i apparently suck at growing in soil lmao. I swapped them to hydro and they are all perked up. The critical mass is definitely doin alot better

 

Back with an update on the Khalifa kush, Critical mass, and Green crack punch.


kk is still in flowering mode for some reason even in an 18/6 light cycle and it being a fem seed. I tried to give it veg nutes but then noticed fan leaves tips starting to change colors after a couple of day and ph was 5.7 - 5.9ph ( 6.0ph tops ) so i swapped it back to flowering ferts. seems to be doing better now. So as of today it is 22days flowering from first pistel.



here is Green crack punch at 7 weeks vlof veg. She was starting to show pistels aswell a week ago. But i kept her on the 18/6 light cycle and the veg ferts. I see new growth but no new pistels. Maybe she she is back in veg now. I am doing Lst on her so she has been tied down a few times.




And here is " The Problem Plant " Critical Mass She will be 7 weeks on Tuesday. She has bounced back TREMENDOUSLY. Ill be vegging her for some time and grabbing clones.



and speakin of clones...... the 4 Gcp clones i grabbed still havent rooted yet. I was using tap water and some root hormone powder. But i just received some clonex rooting gel, Clonex solution, and rapid starter root enhancer, i mixed up and put in the cloner. So we shall see.
