After having some problem with heat in my grow tent I decided to purchase a portable air cooler and take a risk to see if it worked or not. Long story short it did. It took my temps from 95 degrees with 16% humidity to 77 degrees with 57 % humidity. Though I share with new growers who are looking for a way to cool grow room with out having to run A/C all day. Here's the cooler I got Amazon.com - DELLA© Portable Evaporative Ionizer Air Cooler Humidifier Remote Tower Fan Cooling LCD - Has oscillating feature. Also with the ion button on this cooler and my carbon filter kill all smell. I'm ecstatic right now. Only $89 on Amazon. Runs at 60 watts. Has timer also. I have a sharp library quite model. Works great, but draws a lot of juice. I'll look into that model, thanks for sharing

I refill mines twice a day. Once when I wake up and then when I get home. Found out the best way to use it is fill with3/4 this ice 1/4 cold water in tank. Then up top add ice gel pack. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app

Thanks Colorado. heat has always been a problem for me here in the South. So much so that I don't even grow in June July and August. A/C units become too expensive. Ill be looking into this cooler. May be the answer I've been looking for.
