Tuesday night I went into The City and saw Modest Mouse at Radiocity Music Hall. I was pretty blown away. I have several of their concerts on CD and they are all clearly drunken performances. But the other night when I saw them they were TIGHT! Before the show we went into Central Park for a while and smoked and drank. Which is sort of a ritual when I go into the city. Smoke pot amongst all the gay night joggers. But anyway, I highly recommend going and seeing modest mouse play. It's a garanteed good time. Definitely one of the best concerts I've seen for quite a while. Hopefully the pixies at Umass on nov. 30th will surpass it though.
