Just when I thought things were going well, something else has to come and spoil my day. I found what I thought were heat stress marks on the upper leaves of my plants, which had stretched and got too close to the light. It seems to have developed further now to other areas of the plant. I think that it could actually be mould or potassium and phosphate deficiencies, here's a pic of one of the girls:
I just checked out your journal, it looks like they got burned real bad early on. Have you fed them recently? If so how much, and when? Is your ph still around 6.5? Is the problem effecting the top leaves only?
hey SmknVTEC, PH is about 6.2 It's only newer leaves which are affected, most of the fan leaves are fine, but a couple of the older fan leaves are showing nitro deficiency. I've been feeding 5-5-5 at 1/4 strength once a week during flower.
Hey buddy. Does your fertilizer have micronutrients in it? With your ph being perfect there is no reason why they should be locking anything out. I would go ahead and give them a full stregth fertilizing. It looks to me like you have a calcium deficiency but the question is why.
Do you think it could it be due to excessive flushing? Anyways, my fert does contain all the chelated elements, macronutrients etc. I'll give one plant full strength, and then the 2nd if there are no adverse effects.
Naw, don't think so. Excessive flushing would cause over watering or root rot which I don't think this is. Hang out for a bit, I have asked my g/f stitch to take a look at this theread. Maybe she will have more to add.
