grasscity you need to fix the picture upload .

I couldnt up load photos for close to a year, my old lap top stopped downloading photos from my camera.
I bought a new PC and have zero issues uploading photos .
My guess is its your pc...

Work-a-round for the "Upload" malfunction.

To post a picture from the internet:

1. Copy the image (not the url)
2. Paste it into the reply box

From the image software or another file location on your computer or laptop, and possibly our phone:

1. Copy the image
2. Paste it into the reply box.

Once you’ve completed adding the information that you’d like to share and have pasted the images into the reply box that you’d like to include in your post, click “Post”.

I have been able to post pictures using both of these methods, even when the option to “upload” an image is malfunctioning.

Hope this work-a-round works just as well for all of you.

 

I think it's a matter of the file size being too large. I've had success when uploading a pic, it doesn't work and I go ahead and reduce the file size by reducing the quality a bit to get under a certain threshold and then it works I believe (don't remember the exact size)

I think there are 2 reasons why photos can't be uploaded
One is that the file size is too large suika watermelon game
Second, due to incorrect file formats, websites usually support jpg and png formats, but tif and jfif are usually not supported.

 

I do the copy and paste using my phone. When that fails I will crop it a little smaller and it usually will post.
This is what a Forum Moderator told me when I inquired about the issue.

 

After the response from the Moderator I took some time to reflect on the situation. I quickly reminded myself that the forum is free, I pay nothing to be here. I reset my expectations regarding the difficulties posting photos. It can be annoying do the “go around” but either path usually is successful. If it doesn’t, wait a few minutes and try again. It’s free.

I've noticed this on here, as well as another forum. Its really strange. It will randomly pick photos not to post it seems...

Usually I just take a screenshot of said photo and then it'll post. Quite annoying though
