I just made a page on wikipedia for grasscity . I don't intend this to be a major project but feel free to add to it (be quick for i do fear that it will become deleted as it isn't "legit" enough). Here everybody http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grasscity They said that shit was Vandalism... ? here this is what they said it was Vandalism is any addition, removal, or change of content made in a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia. Vandalism cannot and will not be tolerated. Common types of vandalism are the addition of obscenities or crude humor, page blanking, and the insertion of nonsense into articles. Any good-faith effort to improve the encyclopedia, even if misguided or ill-considered, is not vandalism. Even harmful edits that are not explicitly made in bad faith are not vandalism. For example, adding a controversial personal opinion to an article is not vandalism; although reinserting it despite multiple warnings can be disruptive (however, edits/reverts over a content dispute are never vandalism, see WP:EW). Not all vandalism is obvious, nor are all massive or controversial changes vandalism. Careful thought may be needed to decide whether changes made are beneficial, detrimental but well-intended, or outright vandalism. Committing vandalism violates Wikipedia policy. If you find that another user has vandalized Wikipedia, you should revert these changes; you may also warn the user (see below for specific instructions). Users who vandalize Wikipedia repeatedly, despite warnings to stop, should be reported to Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism, and administrators may block them. Note that warnings are not always required; accounts whose main or only use is obvious vandalism or other forbidden activity may be blocked without warning.
I would assume it'd be hard to type if your wrists were cut. Or even if you were dead for that matter. But yea wikibots are pretty fast and strict on their shit. Took them awhile though when I posted a fake biography on an asshole friend.
some girl in my school changed john mayers page to say they dated in highschool and a song was about her.. idk if its still in there but it was forever
That is one trick I learned, is if you can create a believable story on a band page it'll stay there for awhile. My friend has an over-sized head, I mean the things a mellon, so I wiki'd big head and found a band with Big Head in it. I added to the page that they came up with the name for the band because they walked by my friend who had a big head and had a conversation with him. Best part was a few hundred people reading about my friends over sized melon. He's not a friend anymore though, so he deserved it.
I was looking up the Beltway sniper on Wikipedia and someone had obviously edited it so that their middle school rival was on the victims list It was all normal until it was like ...and Joey Henderson the poopyhead
hahah. yeah its great what little things you find.. once in my sociology class. for a powerpoint. someone copy and pasted a whole slides worth of stuff. and right in the middle it said "fuck portugal". he noticed right when he came up to that line. and so did the teacher hahaha
I wish we could all pick something and "roll" to see which page we demolish. Few people here know what webpage does this often...shhh.
Back before they really cracked down on misinformation I was the fourth richest person in the world for five days.
