damn if i havnt seen this thread made about 15 times already! I just joined in Dec! Ill say the same thing i did in the others. To me this has nothing to do with a popularity contest. Ive said things that clearly have not made people happy but if you keep it in the bounds of an actual intelectual post you wont get neg repped and in fact alot of people will +rep you for stating your idea (which is diff than then norm) but kept your shit together and made a good post. Ill say this so its clear. I HAVE NEVER TYPED ONE LINE OF TEXT THAT I DID NOT MEAN. I dont know why you think its one big popularity contest but im sure you have your reasons. If your getting neg repped all the time then try to find a new way to state your ideas without offending people. Other than that keep your head up, itll get better
I love it when people make these kind of threads. Take a look at all of my posts, go through them one by one and you'll see my rep has nothing to do with being popular. Misinformation=disinformation.
well... hell yea this thread is pointless really..i mean people who do shit for popularity are very transparent..easy to spot and easy to ignore, they go away unlike herpes

The point of this forum is to talk about the benefits and enjoyments of smoking marijuana...rep is like Karma in my opinion. You get positive for being respectful, helpful, etc. You get a negative for making assumptions, being an asshole,... So in a way reputation does mean something. (as long as people don't abuse the system) -C

Obviously reputable members are reputable members for a reason. They're popular yes, but that's because they've contributed the most to benefit GC, if it's a popularity contest, good for them, they're winning because they've done us all well and kept GC to what it's supposed to be.

I agree with you even though most others disagree. Some of the people, not all but some I'm positive are only here to gain rep and respect on this online forum. Sure there may be no point at all for it, but sadly it's true. We can't deny that.

I couldn;t even read all that to be honest, but really this place is for what you wanna do within the rules, much like life. Take what you want and leave the rest I say.... I have no issues with popularity, so I can't say i really care. I just looks for funny stories, good pictures, and helpful legal and issues information.
