I would be so happy if I could give rep or likes thru the app. When I see things that make my laugh my ass off I want to give credit but I don't cause it's too much trouble. Please make this a priority in the next update
I just realized this too while using the app. I can't even see if people like my posts either. Lame. I immediately checked to see if there was an update available for download too.. but nothin yet.
lol complain again? well if you want to complain you better do it towards forum runner, because we dont have any powers over what they do with the app they own that GC just happens to use
I've asked this before, but how about making a sticky for the feedback forum detailing that GC doesn't make the app, Forum Runner does, and as a result complaints/suggestions about the app should be directed to Forum Runner. These threads about likes/reps on the app pop up almost daily. Surely a sticky might help divert some of that. And to anybody else reading, I've written Forum Runner in the past about adding things to the app. Their response? So long as forum thread creation/replies and private messages work, they consider the app functional. They're basically just a template service, and I think they do a good job with it. I use this forum, and 2 others from Forum Runner and they all run pretty much flawlessly, just without the extraneous stuff that you get to on the full site. FR offers a quick way to open up the full site from the app, so do your likes/reps from there.
You actually can give rep on your phone. Its not directly through the app, but if you click the title of the thread at the top of the page, it will take you to the web browser version of grasscity. You can find the post you wanna rep and rep or like that person. I know its a pain, but its how i do it and its not thatbad
