Does any one use grass clippings on top of their soil on their outdoor plots? i ended up with like a 1 inch lip around the inside edges of my holes and i want something lightweight and to fill it in with and keep my soil moist; dried grass? my main concern is will it alter my ph or N levels alot? the lime in their will help so a bit of fluxuation is aceptable. i dont wanna carry like wood mulch in iether, the hoes are too damn big and i gotta walk to damn far to carry that heavy stuff. thx in advance.
