i got a question, maybe you guys can help me out... in your experience with online headshops, was there and indication that the package was from a headshop... i live with the parents, and i dont want a package arriving that gives them suspicion... thanks
Actually, your package will have huge pictures of your purchase plastered all over it, along with a siren (which you can't turn off) so that everyone will look at it. It's also got a police tracker in it, so that as soon as you open it a SWAT team will be dispatched to your house, and they will set up constant surveillance until you use it to do something illegal, at which point they'll storm your house and arrest you. When I ordered from GC it came in a plain brown package. Really, think about it, would an online headshop send products in anything but a discreet package?

ok you went a little overboard there.... im just saying i get home last from work... my whole family is home... shit happened to my cousin, he ordered something online, and on the return adress there was some shit which indicated it was from a headshop and his parents found out and he was fucked
He wasn't worried about anything like that, he asked if his parents would be able to identify what was inside the package. Not really such a ridiculous question.
WOW I'm glad I found this thread. SEND IT TO A FRIENDS HOUSE! My bong came, and it said smack on the top of the box "Acrylic Pipe" and my dad found it. He was cool about it and gave it back, but you may not be so lucky.
Whenever you order anything online you don't want your parents finding, just ask the seller. I always do that before ordering anything.
Haha, no problem man, I'd hate to see anyone get fucked over because of this. My dad happens to be a cool guy, and I'm not a bad kid, I'm in college and have never been in trouble with the law so he didn't flip or anything. If I was living with my mom however, she would've splashed me with holy water and kicked me out of the house for sure.
Contrary to popular belief, the packaging that the GC Shop uses is about as discreet as they come these days. They ship everything in an ordinary cardboard box with a list of what is sealed inside the package on top (I believe mine said '4 Glass Items', but I'm sure the slips differ depending on the situation and the country that the purchase is being sent to) and you will be hard pressed to break anything with the amount of styrofoam popcorn that they use! About the only 'conspicuous' thing on the labeling itself is a return address to the company suite in Amsterdam. If you're concerned about your parents seeing this and putting two and two together, I would open a P.O. Box for a month at your local post office and have it shipped there, but I wouldn't be that worried about it. I was out of town when my Molino came in, so I let my mom know to pick up the package for me, and after I showed it to her she was rather taken aback, saying that she had no idea there was holding a pipe for me that entire week. I want to apologize for my earlier post. I am tired of seeing questions like this about GC and various seedbanks, and maybe this led me to be more sarcastic than was really warranted. I tried to answer the question in my post as well, but on re-reading it I saw that that was rather unkindly worded as well. You've got good advice in the thread here, if you're the last one home than you should have it shipped somewhere other than your house (a friend's house or a PO box if you want to spend a little extra), and then you won't have to worry about it.
