Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by eroc, Nov 13, 2006.

  1. hey all got one plant in flowering now for almost 2 weeks now. gave it some granny bloomers 1-6-5 nute. my question is how often should i feed it with that? do i continue with my normal feeding of alaska fish emulsion 5-1-1 and give it bloomers every two weeks like the directions say or switch over entirely to granny bloomers?

  3. You want a fertilizer low in nitrogen and high in PK for flowering. The bloomer sounds like its used as a booster, if this is the case then you need to get a flowering fert, if its a flowering fert you should probably feed it once a week, flushing every 2-3 weeks. Also, if its not a bud booster then I recommend you get one.

  4. But don't waste your money on a "carbo-load" or some such crap.
Try molasses. Same thing, but way cheaper.

There's a copy of the classic 3LB Molasses manual here...

ps.. the fish emulsion is good, but that new stuff you got sounds like chemical shit. There are loads of good organic flowering foods kicking around, perhaps something Comfrey based. Vintage Bat Guano tea is the very best.

  5. find a post from spanishfly. on his sig there is a recipe for russian comfrey fert that i've heard great things about.

  6. By a booster I'm talking about things like PK 13/14 these are designed to increase the size of the bud and are only given during week 5. Another one is budswell.

  7. Ahh right, basically a phosphates boost for flowering mass (fat, dense budz). With ya. The comfrey and guano take care of that, if you go organic. Start the guano teas around the same time, 5th or 6th week, depending on strain.
