    The United States Department of Health and Human Services. It shouldn't exist. It's trampling all over state rights as assigned in the Constitution. This would include the DEA. Prohibition is unconstitutional. We had to make an amendment for alcohol, so why the sudden change when it comes to cannabis?

    If we didn't have the FDA parents would be feeding children moth balls and asbestos pancakes!


    I think the Department of Energy is a huge waste, needs to go.

    ehhh...the FDA was created in the 30's by FDR after Upton Sinclair wrote "The Jungle," a book exposing the sanitary atrocities committed in the meat-packing industry.

    Today, almost all food companies hire private inspectors who have much stricter regulations than the FDA and give the company a higher credibility regarding their sanitation. So yea, I wouldn't say the FDA is preventing us from eating mothballs...

    I'm not too informed about what they do in the drug end of the spectrum, but I can't imagine that they're more efficient than private companies.

    But yeah, the DOE is one of the most useless ones, I would get rid of that.

    Whoever is in charge of making it illegal to sell milk on the side of the road and such without a license. Whoever is in charge of controlling what pills are legal, cuz they fucked up when there's a 10 page list of dangerous side effects and they say "OK!". Thats the FDA right?

    But i think a lot of them could just use a redesign rather than a total trashing of the program. Like welfare, for example. It just needs to be re-done

    Department of Education. Probably one of the single most useless governmental bureaucratic agencies on the entire goddamn planet. Our nation's public schools continue to get worse as funding is cut, the nation's children continue to learn bullshit, and the people high up continue to deliver empty promises. It's just a bunch of agenda setting but no promises. They aren't the ones who suffer from this mess as they send their children to top notch private schools. Possibly one of the biggest waste of taxpayer dollars EVER.
