    perhaps a dumb question but i was just wondering if anyone knows why gottis are called gottis...that question just came into our conversation (me and my brother)...so i figured someone would know

    i always thought it was called a godfather, goddie for short because it is the godfather of all blunts

    was the godfathers movies based on a real person? i know goodfellas is based on real people but i have never seen teh godfather. and i have heard bblunts be called gottis and godfathers before but i dont know

    ^^ the godfather is much more realistic and much more in depth then goodfellas, goodfellas is more of an entertainment movie, godfather was more information and shiz, watch it though its awsome quite looongg though.

    well young deco i believe goddi is short for godfather, and a quarter blunt is the godfather of blunts so that is where the name comes from undoubtfully, if you had waited until i wasn't so far gone last night i could have answered your question for you.

    i heard godfather and goddies, maybe your brother or who (who ever heard it first) mistaken goddie for gotti (like the family)

    ...but for the most part, most people here know them as goddies or godfathers, so... think about it :)
