Got to test out new Mile Hi Bloom and wanted to post review

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by bittercoldoldman, Sep 10, 2018.

  1. Hey guys and gals, thought I'd do a little write up on how the grow with my samples from Mile Hi Fertilizers, Mile Hi Bloom and Kelp turned out. Honestly I wish I had taken more pictures in the Veg stages to show how rapid everything took off . I grew a variety of Ethos Genetics Strains from SEED in a 4x8 table with 2x 600w HPS Hortilux Lamps in a custom built Grow shed.
I started the 8 seedlings in Botanicare CocoGro in 1 gallon plastic pots(cheap grow store pots) pots after popping them using a domed tray and rapid rooter plugs. Being that they were seedlings I started with a light dose of 1 Tablespoon of Mile Hi Bloom, and 1 Tablespoon of their Kelp product(both dry products) SCRATCHED into the surface of each one gallon pot then thoroughly watered through. After this inital dosing I used plain tap water or water mixed with azos and mykos wp beneficial bacteria for the first 14 days of the seedling growth to help stimulate root development. After 2 weeks the plants were once again fed 1 Tablespoon of the MHB and the KELP scratched into the surface of each pot and watered through.
After 30 total days of veg (plants ranging from 14-20 inches tall(some were stragglers) We took these plants from their 1 gallon pots and transplanted them into 3 gallon pots to be flowered and once again used the Botanicare Cocogro Coco coir but this time added 1 full cup of each the Mile Hi Bloom and Kelp into the Coco Coir and mixed it through the whole pot so the coir was ameneded.
After this the plants were put back into the 4x8 tray in the 3 gallon pots and once again given water with azos and Mykos wp Beneficial bacteria to stimulate root growth. The Light Cycle was switched to 12 hours on and 12 hours of Darkness to promote flowering.
After the first 14 days of flower we added 2 more Tablespoons of the MHB and Kelp scratched into the surface of each 3 gallon pot and watered in to run through. Flower sites had started to show, a few pistils here and there and the plants all started to stretch. At day 30 of flower I added 2 more tablespoons of the MHB and Kelp scratched into the surface of each pot an watered it through. By this time plants are in full flower and showing large fluffy pistilly bud sites all over each plant. At 45 days we added our last 2 Tablespoons of each the MHB and the Kelp to each plant and scratched in and watered through.
From their on out we only used tap water days 46 through 70-85. The Pillow Factory and Mandarin Cookies finished around day 70 while the Rainmaker plants needed 85 days to fully mature. The plants had a wonderful Lime green and purple/orange tinge to the flowers after harvest.
I will be updating this post with pictures over a few days here but check me out @firecrewchief on instagram and also check out @milehifertilizers for pictures and information about the product.

  2. I love those Ethos Genetics. I have Rainmaker and it’s such a great strain I had to keep it around. I had quite a few 3/4 oz colas on them and did 18 oz from 6 plants in 2x4 space in one gallon pots of coco DTW. I’m interested in those Pillow Factory’s as well.
