  1. here are some pictures to entertain you

    they're in my gallery

most i took today walking around stoned or burnin out in my room.

the three pics of my sugar gliders were taken sometime recently. the one on my shoulder and the chair is panda. the little bugger pulling my bag of weed out of my pocket is ashes. they're the best pets in the world.

  2. holy shit i love your pets, tell me more

  3. haha

they're called sugar gliders, because they glide like flying squirrels. so cool to watch them scamper about scaling walls and curtains and such and gliding from one piece of furniture to the next. ahhh, they're marsupials, they're nocturnal, they love sweet tasting fruits and cuddling up in soft things. it takes them a while to warm up to you..you know, figure out that you're not going to eat them, but after that they're pretty affectionate. panda is perched between my shoulder and the chair under the hood of my jacket taking a nap right now. i got em as a birthday present about three months ago. they bring me lots o joy. cept when they poo on me and/or my pillow. but you cant really get too grossed out when somethin that cute shits on you.

  4. word sugargliders are cool

  5. hey where you get one of those sugar gliders? i was thinking of getting a rat but i'd rather have something that's unique, ya know?

  6. ^you should google sugar gliders and read a ton before you go out and get one. they're a little expensive and not legal in all states. there's a lot to consider. more than there is to consider when buying a dog or cat.

i wanted a rat too but after researching the two i discovered that gliders are cooler times a billion. and after owning two i discovered they're cooler than anything else i could've gotten times a billion.

  7. sweet place to toke dude

  8. SHit, why did you have to tease me with that chinese food?

  9. Wow that is probably the cutest thing I've ever seen.
Is it happy though? It doesnt seem like an animal that could easily adapt to an indoor environment. Are they taken straight from the wild?

Also, is it kept in a cage or do you let it roam freely? Just wondering because I've never heard of such an animal being kept as a pet.

  10. ya man they love it indoors, I have 2 of them, they like to be in pairs so if you get them get 2. I keep mine in the cage when I am not around or nobody is there but when they are out they love to glide down and chill in the back of my hoodie lol. paid 500 for the pair.

  11. Yeah...I have a Quaker Parrot, and when I fly down to Florida sometimes with my mother during the summers I have to sign all of these legal documents because EVERY state except for 1 that we fly over the bird is illegal in. And I have to buy a damn seat for the bird! 80 buck! and it sits under the seat. I got her out one time and let her sit on my shoulder since no one else was around. She really enjoyed it, just nestled behind my ear and went to sleep.

  12. Cool pictures man. I love the Sugarglider, im actually decideing weither to get a small Kitten for my apt. or a Sugarglider. Idk if i'd be able to get a pair though, its not necessary to get them in pairs is it?

  13. they're bred in captivity, yep.

to me, they seem perfectly happy living indoors where they can be pampered and have a steady supply of food that they dont even have to chase and kill or search for hours to find (though, when i hold out a freeze-dried meal worm they pounce on it and gobble it up like they think it's about to escape :p)

edit -- they like to live in big groups and are social animals. people who have lots of time to spend with them keep one. they get depressed and make themselves sick when they dont have a buddy :(

  14. I was just reading they aren't good to buy single, but to wait til you have enough money to buy a pair or not buy em at all. Even though i am home alot to bond with them.

I was never a big fan of cats anyways, i'd like something more interesting/unique. My friends got a nice bird thats really cool has a sweet personality laughs when we laugh and bobs his head haha

my apt. doesn't say aynthing about an extra monthly fee for Sugargliders muahahaha :D

  15. I never knew they had to be in pairs. That's probably why my buddy's sucked so bad. It just chilled in it's little box thing and made really angry noises whenever you'd get anywhere near it. It was pretty cheap though, like less than 150 bucks. I guess it's worth the money, cause yours looks awesome, and this one sucked balls. It would pee on you whenever it'd get close, like it was on purpose.

I saw this band caled winterset (or maybe somerset, i don't remember) cause they played with my buddy's band, and after the show we were hangin out talkin, and out of nowhere, this little thing started just running all over him! I flipped out a little and was like, "dude, there's like a tiny squirrel running all over you, in case you hadn't noticed." He laughed and told me all about sugar gliders, and as he was talking, it started flying around our circle from person to person. damn those things are badass when you take care of them properly.

  16. hahaha i like your sugar gliders :p
